Your chance to win tickets and accommodation to see Ireland v France at the Rugby World Cup and support Irish clubs and charities in London!
The Aisling Project has received the incredibly generous donation of 2 pairs of tickets (Categories B and C) for the Rugby World Cup match between Ireland and France on 11th of October, courtesy of our great friend and supporter Pat Logue, guvnor of the Sheephaven Bay pub in Camden. Tickets for this match have been sold out for some time and are naturally enough in great demand and are only going to get more so. Pat has donated these tickets so that anyone can now have a chance of getting their hands on a pair of these for a £2 raffle ticket (3 for £5). The prize also includes overnight accommodation in nearby Bristol as there is barely a room to be had in Cardiff that night.
We have also received the fantastic gift of 2 pairs of tickets to the Ireland vs Italy game on the 4th of October from our friend and supporter Tom Corkery of the Gallagher Group.
There are many other prizes to be won including a week’s holiday in Ireland courtesy of Trident Holiday Homes and Irish Ferries, 4 tickets to the November race meeting at Cheltenham, VIP tickets to the Aisling comedy benefit in November (meet the comedians), tickets to The Commitments at the Palace Theatre in the West End and plenty more tempting offers.
Buying a ticket for the Aisling Project Prize Draw will ensure your generosity raises much needed funds not just for our charity which supports homeless and vulnerable Irish emigrants in London but also for Irish clubs and societies throughout London.
We are partnering with pubs and clubs all across the Irish community in London who can nominate a club or society for a share of the ticket proceeds sold in that pub. Currently such clubs as the Munster Rugby Supporters Club, Holloway Gaels and Eire Og have already gotten involved but we are eager to hear from more clubs.
We are very grateful that some of London’s finest pubs and bars have come on board to help ensure that tickets are available across London. The tickets are currently on sale at the following venues:
The Quays on Holloway Road; http://www.claddagh-ring.co.uk/#!the-quays/c105a
The Claddagh Ring in Church Road, Hendon; http://www.claddagh-ring.co.uk/#!the-claddagh-ring/c187b

and the aforementioned Sheephaven Bay, Mornington Street, Camden Town. http://www.sheephavenbaycamden.co.uk/
The draw will take place on 12th September with the winners formally notified shortly afterwards so there are lots of tickets to be sold between now and then. We are hoping to get more pubs and clubs involved over the coming weeks and months so if you have a local or favourite pub that would like to sell tickets to support the Aisling Project or a prize to donate then please get in touch with Alex McDonnell at info@aisling.org.uk or call us on 0207 485 7030.
The Aisling Project has been providing a service to long term Irish migrants in London for over 20 years, offering support to those who have become isolated and estranged from their homeland through supported breaks in Ireland, linking up with families and friends and through help with health, welfare and dependency issues.
Thank you for your continued support. It really is appreciated.
